EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Position: Organic Farmer / Farm Help
Organization: Greenfields Organic Farm
Location: Campbellville, Ontario
Greenfields Organic Farm has an immediate opening for a
farmer or farm help.
Greenfields Farm operates a 20 acre certified organic market
garden, now in its 16th year. Produce is sold at farmers
markets in Toronto and Guelph.
The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- minimum 3 year organic farming experience
- self motivated and good team player
- thrives in a fast paced environment
- can work outside in all kinds of weather
- able to efficiently carry through repetitive tasks
- some retailing experience
- experience with farm equipment (tractor and implements)
- valid drivers license
- good written and verbal communication skills
The position starts immediately and ends in early November.
Possibly leading to year round employment.
Competitive wage according to experience.
Mandatory benefits.
On farm accommodation can be provided (separate private apartment).
