The Arctic Chalet is a beautifully landscaped eco-friendly non-smoking establishment located on the outskirts of Inuvik, Northwest Territories. We are looking for a healthy, physically fit individual who would enjoy living and working in this unique place way up north for one year or more.
We currently have an opening for a cleaner who is hard-working and reliable and willing to do any kind of cleaning job. This might include cleaning rental cars or company vehicles, cleaning and making up guest rooms, carpet cleaning and janitorial contract work. Applicants must be clean, neat and tidy in appearance and drug-free and have a positive outlook on life. We are offering a monthly stipend of $1500 before taxes, and free housing for this full-time position.
We are wanting to hire people who are also good with animals and are willing to volunteer a few hours a day to help out in the kennels with feeding watering and cleaning. In exchange for this help we are offering the opportunity to learn all about sled dogs and dog sledding. Volunteers will also help with training runs and be involved in some exciting winter dog sled adventures.
This position is available immediately and will extend through the winter months and spring for a minimum of one year from the start date.
