Leaders in Environmentally Accountable Foodservice (L.E.A.F.) is looking for an environmentalist to conduct audits for our clients.

As an independent auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating restaurants on their environmental sustainability based on pre-existing criteria, as well as providing a consulting service. This is a contract position with part-time, flexible hours, ideal for someone looking for extra work. However, as a contract position, there are no guaranteed hours.

Some knowledge in the foodservice industry is preferred. An interest and willingness to learn is a must, as you will be a consultant in environmental issues pertaining to the foodservice industry. We will provide you with all the basic information you will need, but education is largely self-directed and on-going.

The successful applicant will be:
- Formally educated in environmental science or equivalent
- Experienced in the food service industry
- Detail-oriented
- Self-motivated/driven
- Reliable
- A people person with excellent communication skills

Membership with an accredited auditing or environmental organization is an asset.
