May-Ruben Technologies (MRT) was founded to continue the tradition of its parent company, the AMC Group, to be a pioneer in a variety of industries via their technology innovation mandate. MRT is currently part of an Industrial Research Assistance Program Youth Employment Grant. We are looking for a recent graduate to come finish the program and continue working with us to develop our environmentally conscious technologies.
The YEP grant supports a Marketing & Commercialization Associate for our High Impedance Electroporation technology. For more on HIE please visit our website http://www.may-rubentechnologies.com . The position would involve market and industry research for the different applications of HIE, the development of marketing materials, creating and maintaining industry relationships, developing a media portfolio for HIE, and monitoring regulatory approval phases. A background in science is an asset.
Other assets include: general administrative duties and minor bookkeeping experience.
To be eligible for the Youth Employment Program, graduates must:
* be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or persons who have been granted refugee status in Canada
* be between 15 and 30 years old (inclusive)
* have graduated from a post-secondary institution
* not be in receipt of Employment Insurance benefits
* be legally entitled to work according to relevant provincial legislation and regulations
* be a first-time youth participant in a placement of the Career Focus Program of the Youth Employment Strategy
