EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Position: Finance Analytical Support
Organization: Summerhill Impact http://www.summerhillgroup.ca
Location: Toronto, Ontario

Summary:
The Finance Analytical Support worker will support the financial data management and administration of one of Summerhill Impact's largest programs, Retire Your Ride. The successful candidate will work with the Summerhill Impact Retire Your Ride Finance Director and Summerhill's Finance Director to track and analyze financial data, and provide general support to the Finance team.

Job Description:
* Ensure the efficient analysis and tracking of all historical and current financial data
* Create tracking documentation for audit purposes
* Work with custom database for data verification purposes
* Liaise with Finance Team
* Contribute where necessary to team initiatives and priorities
* Promote idea sharing and communication with peers and management
* Must be a positive contributor to our team environment

Job Skill Requirements:
* Previous professional data analysis experience required
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be essential
* Must be comfortable mastering new computer software
* Able to analyze comprehensive data and cross-reference data from a variety of sources
* Familiar with bank reconciliations and general ledger reports
* A thorough knowledge and understanding of budgeting processes
* Experience in financial audit processes
* Able to meet deliverables accurately and on time
* Able to work without supervision in a team based environment
* Excellent communication skills a must
* Strong proficiency in English required

Additional Skills of Interest:
* Previous experience in a not-for-profit environment will be considered an asset
* Previous experience with government reporting will be considered an asset
